Batticaloa SOS Social Centre

The SOS Social Centre, Batticaloa helps orphaned and vulnerable children and their families in the local community. The centre was established to help those affected by the civil war in the region. In the aftermath of the tsunami at the end of 2004, the SOS Social Centre co-ordinated the distribution of food, shelter and medicines to communites affected by the tsunami
