Ennerdale SOS Social Centre

The SOS Social Centre, Ennerdale helps about 2000 orphaned and vulnerable children and their families every year. Hundreds of families, including many that are child-led, have been helped The support has taken the form of food, medicine and help with education. In addition skills have been taught to encourage and support independent living - gardening, sewing and bead making. The SOS Social Centre has a medical clinic that provides basic medical treatment and runs a well-baby unit. In addition the SOS Social Centre plans to run an education programme on the treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS.
