Freetown SOS Social Centre

The SOS Social Centre, Freetown works principally to support children and their families who have special needs, primarily physical disability. It has also established a feeding programme for orphaned and vulnerable children and their families in the local community and a programme to raise awareness about the treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS. In addition, the SOS Social Centre has worked with the International Committee of the Red Cross to help reunite children with their families following the civil war.
