Pemba SOS Social Centre

The SOS Social Centre, Pemba supports orphaned and vulnerable children and their families in the community of one of the poorest regions of Mozambique. Malnutrition is high, as is the incidence of HIV/AIDs related illnesses. The SOS Social Centre has four main areas of activity: developing income-generating projects, help with education, health especially treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDs. Income-generating projects include support for fishing and charcoal burning.
