Santa Maria SOS Social Centre

The SOS Social Centre, Santa Maria helps orphaned and vulnerable children and their families in the local community. It began work at the begining of 2004. Its aim is to support the education of children. It has a huge impact on the lives of their families as their children's behaviour and performance at school has improved. About 260 were helped in the first year. The SOS Social Centre will assess the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children and their families in the local community to define the future programmes.
