Mallasa SOS Social Centre

The SOS Social Centre Mallasa is in the Chasquipampa area of La Paz. In that one area alone there are an estimated 17,000 children and familes that are living in poverty. The SOS Social Centre has established a programme to support orphaned and vulnerable children and their families. Local Family Committees have been formed to co-ordinate the provision of services and the training of mothers and community leaders.
